Feature Sponsor – Designer Contracts

Designer Contracts demonstrates its commitment to industry and customers with accreditation, sustainability and excellence

Understanding the needs of their customers, together with their depth of expertise and exceptional service levels, has seen Designer Contracts successfully complete thousands of projects. Focus is on building partnerships by demonstrating their dedication to delivering high quality products and services and reinforcing their position as a trusted and responsible industry leader by achieving and maintaining accreditations in the leading industry standards.

Designer Contracts, the UK’s largest flooring contractor, has most recently completed the construction industry recognised Common Assessment Standard to achieve the coveted Elite status.

Designed to advance safe and sustainable business practices and set benchmarks for supply chain compliance, the assessment is backed by Build UK and the Civil Engineering Contractors Association (CECA).

Having previously achieved Standard and Advanced accreditation, Designer Contract’s newly confirmed ‘gold’ standard as Elite members sets it apart from many competitors.

Said commercial director Louise Walters: “We’ve been CHAS members for a while, but this is the first time we’ve reached Elite status and we’re delighted to have done so.

“The accreditation represents a comprehensive assessment covering 13 key areas of risk management, from health and safety to environmental and professional standing.”

The Common Assessment Standard – conducted annually – helps companies in construction and related industries achieve and demonstrate compliance. Veriforce CHAS works with leading organisations worldwide to advance safe and sustainable business practices and set benchmarks for supply chain compliance. Its mission is to help bring workers home safely.

In addition to this recent accolade, they go further to ensure that they are providing their customers with the assurance and confidence they need in a supplier. Keeping on top of industry standards and going that little bit further, is second nature for the company.

As an accredited Real Living Wage Employer, the company is dedicated to paying their employees a wage that reflects the true cost of living, ensuring they can maintain a decent standard of living. This accreditation reflects their values of fairness and equality.

As an established gold member of the Supply Chain Sustainability School, they continue to demonstrate commitment to sustainability and responsible practices throughout their supply chain. This partnership enables the company to drive positive change and improve sustainability outcomes. Their Constructionline Gold membership is a testament to the company’s expertise, financial stability, and commitment to quality. This accreditation provides assurance that they’re a trusted and reliable partner.  Their commitment to excellence provides a solid foundation for building strong, long-term relationships.
