“Any innovations or changes to the law which can speed up the buying process can only be a good thing, especially if they will reduce the number of last-minute collapses in a house sale. Reducing the sales process by several weeks will also give greater confidence to first-time buyers, which can only be good news to the UK housing market.
“Our only caveat is that any proposed changes to the process do not bring unwanted costs or bureaucracy to housebuilders and sellers alike.”
