Keller Kitchens at 90 is at the heart of the new era

Since 1935, Gerard and Henk Keller’s personal collaborations with clients have set them apart in the Dutch kitchen industry. By 1946, during the post-war reconstruction, their partnership with Bredero’s Construction Company led to the supply of 1,000 kitchens, marking a significant contribution to residential rebuilding efforts. The 1970s saw the establishment of the Keller dealer network, as kitchens evolved into more luxurious spaces with an expanding palette of colours and materials. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, Keller began exporting to the UK and Middle East, becoming the most recognised Dutch kitchen brand among dealers. Today, in 2025, Keller operates from a state-of-the-art 56,000m² facility, equipped to produce large volumes of kitchens with precision and efficiency.

What began 90 years ago in a modest workshop nestled in the beautiful south west region of Holland has grown into a hugely successful brand in the Netherlands, UK and beyond. The story of Keller spans nine decades of craftsmanship, collaboration, and continuous innovation.

Now, with over 200 dedicated dealers across the territories, Keller continues to innovate in the ever-developing industry. Planet-conscious, stylish, and personal, Keller’s kitchens are also smart, deign-led, and perfect for real life! 2026 will welcome yet more inspiring collections full of new colours, materials, and ideas.

Sustainability is key in everything Keller does today; it’s the starting point for every major decision, every investment and every product. The company, which has been carbon neutral since 2017, generates all required electricity via 8,000 solar panels on the roof of the factory. Nearshore sourcing for all materials, always from renewable sources, is achieved and robotic warehousing, where robots store all the offcuts of the materials used, maximises the use of every square centimetre of board and material. Every treatment such as lacquering and staining, wherever possible, is water-based while green biomass for heat and energy generation is filtered to make sure the absolute minimum carbon dioxide is fed out into the atmosphere. In 2024, Enduura was launched, the first biobased kitchen products from recycled materials that are bound by a biobased cellulose; even the Enduura handles are made from recycled sea plastics.
And sustainability is not just about what the business; the company also fund initiatives, such as carbon farming.

Tim Spann, Keller’s UK National Sales Manager comments: “It’s a real privilege to be part of a company with such a rich heritage and outstanding track record. When Gerald and Henk Keller founded the business, they were true visionaries. I doubt even they could have imagined just how far their legacy would go. I’d like to think that, like me, they’d be incredibly proud of what Keller has become.”
