Life Less Ordinary further expands workforce

Six months after doubling its team to support continued growth, property developer Life Less Ordinary has made further investment in its workforce.

Robert Whittle and Jade Buoey both join from Elemento Group to boost the business’s technical team.  Robert, a member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists, has assumed the role of Head of Technical having amassed experience across both the commercial and residential sectors with the likes of Mount Anvil, Troy Homes and Tesco.

Jade will support him having taken up the role of Technical Manager.  Her residential career commenced at Bellway Homes, and she has since worked for Chase New Homes and Elemento.

Life Less Ordinary’s commercial team, meanwhile, welcomes Quantity Surveyor Ryan Cariello.  His broad experience covers specialist fit-out work in the commercial sector on prestigious projects including the The Royal Academy of Music and Société Générale in Canary Wharf.  Most recently, he was a Quantity Surveyor on residential developments.

Commenting on the new recruits, Rinay Chawda, Director at Life Less Ordinary said:

“With an ever-increasing appetite to push the boundaries of style, quality and desirability in the development of new homes, we’re committed to investing in the very best talent that the sector has to offer.

“Combined, Robert, Jade and Ryan bring a rich and varied portfolio of experience that significantly covers the residential sector – mirroring our focus on delivering more housing in the areas where it’s most needed – with strong experience in larger new build developments.”

Life Less Ordinary has also made a significant internal promotion in announcing Jacob Collins as Head of Investment.  Having joined Life Less Ordinary as Land & Investment Manager in 2021, Jacob quickly demonstrated his flair for all things relating to land, investment and real estate finance.  He comments:

“Life Less Ordinary is in an enviable position of ongoing growth and as the business expands my promotion allows us to focus on accommodating the growth through strategic land acquisitions and efficient financial modelling so we can deliver more new homes to London and the regions.

“Working alongside the Managing Directors, Hinesh and Rinay, to build the business is a role that I am honoured to be taking on and I am excited about our land pipeline over the coming year.”
