UK House builder, Crest Nicholson is celebrating a good night at the Sunday Times British Home Awards after its Oakgrove Village development was awarded ‘Best House Design’. Crest Nicholson’s Oakgrove Village, regeneration schemes in Milton Keynes was recognised at the national awards ceremony on Friday 16th October in central London.
The night was a double success for Crest Nicholson as its Bath Riverside development was commended in the ‘Development of the Year’ category.
The prestigious Sunday Times awards aim to recognise a variety of housing schemes and architectural projects across the country, and are designed to celebrate creativity and exceptional practice in craftsmanship. The ‘Best House Design’ award focused on homes that championed best practice in design and specification.
Oakgrove Village is a collection of 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedroom family homes, as well as 1 and 2 bedroom apartments, within easy reach of central Milton Keynes. The development is formed around a neighbourhood centre, with useful amenities such as a Costa coffee, Waitrose and Metro Bank all on-site.
Bath Riverside is a stunning collection of new homes, set on the River Avon, near Bath’s city centre offering high quality residences from studios to 4 bedroom homes.
Speaking of the award success, Susan Young, Sales and Marketing director at Crest Nicholson, said: “We are delighted that both Oakgrove Village and Bath Riverside have been recognised at The Sunday Times British Homes awards. As with all of our housing developments, Oakgrove Village and Bath Riverside have been developed to offer high quality homes with a designer touch. To be named ‘Best House Design’ is a fantastic achievement for the Oakgrove Village team.
“We’ve seen a phenomenal amount of interest in both Oakgrove Village and Bath Riverside which is testament to the quality of these outstanding developments.”
