BLG further expands geographic lending focus with the appointment of Tracy Aldred

Tracy joins BLG as a Property Development Manager

As part of its continuing strategy to offer development finance across more areas of the UK, Business Lending Group (BLG), the residential development finance lender, announces the appointment Tracy Aldred who will be based in the West Midlands.

Tracy joins BLG as a Property Development Manager, specialising in the structuring of residential development funding for developer and intermediary customers.  She joins from Aldermore Bank where she worked for 3 years in Property Development and Commercial Mortgage Lending.

Announcing the appointment, Peter Wade, Chairman of BLG, says: “This is BLG’s fifth hire over recent months and we’re over the moon to welcome Tracy to the team. Tracy has a wealth of property finance experience and I am particularly excited that she brings development lending knowledge from the midlands, north and south west regions; areas that BLG has expanded into over the last 12 months.

“Although the market is picking up, there is still a severe lack of development funders outside of London and the south east England but I’m pleased to say that BLG is forging ahead and building a strong team to meet this demand.  Tracy’s appointment is further proof of our commitment to provide top-drawer lending to housebuilders right across England and Wales.

“Commenting on her appointment Tracy Aldred, Property Development Manager at BLG said: “For me, joining BLG makes perfect sense; I am passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and funding solutions to property developers and brokers – and this is what BLG does! I’ve worked in finance for over 35 years with financial institutions such as RBS, HBOS and Aldermore; now I am bringing my experience to BLG; they have a strong appetite to lend and I can’t wait to get out there and start funding BLG deals.”
