Designer Contracts – the UK’s largest flooring contractor – has appointed a number of senior employees within key regional locations.
Angie Cresswell, Mike Fitzgerald and Paul Slade have all been promoted to area managers within the South East, Thames Valley and Thames Medway regions respectively.
Said MD, Peter Kelsey: “Business has continued to grow considerably over the past 12 months. As a consequence we have increased the size of some of our regions and made a number of promotions.”
Angie has worked within the flooring industry for over 29 years – 16 of those at Designer Contracts. Joining the company in 1998 as an administrator, Angie was promoted to contracts manager in 2000 and senior contracts manager in 2007.
With over 32 years’ experience in the flooring industry, working with some of the country’s best known brands, Mike joined Designer Contracts in November 2013 as sales manager.
Paul joined the newly opened Thames Medway region as senior contracts manager in 2012. His career in flooring started at the age of 14 when he helped in the warehouse of a floorcoverings business before working across a number of industry roles.
The company has fully staffed offices and warehousing in 12 regions across the UK. As well as flooring, the company supply curtain, blind, furniture and lighting packs to the new-build industry and has a full show-home interior design service.
