From filling vases for flowers, to rinsing wellies after an adventure or washing up after late-night baking, few things happen in family life without involving the kitchen sink. That’s the inspiration behind ‘Never Ordinary Every Day’ – the new campaign rolled out by The 1810 Company to highlight the benefits of their growing collection of SCHOCK quartz composite sinks.
Part of the SCHOCK group since 2022, The 1810 Company aims to focus attention on its colourful and versatile SCHOCK quartz composite range, with the Tia D-100L CRISTADUR® sink in the new Berry tone taking centre stage as star of the show. The campaign consists of a series of videos showing a family experiencing everyday life with the sink at the heart of the action.
Managing Director at The 1810 Company, Bernhard van Ommen, explains: “Sinks are the most frequently used element of a kitchen, with so many of us filling a glass, washing hands, preparing food or rinsing dishes every day. “As a focal point, a beautiful sink and tap can really crown a kitchen.”
The SCHOCK range is not only rich in practical benefits, but is also rich in history. SCHOCK, with a heritage of 101 years and as the inventor of the quartz composite sink, still manufactures in the Bavarian Forest in Germany. Innovation is at the heart of its creation, from eye-catching colours and designs to forward-thinking technology and a focus on sustainable practices.
Bernhard added: “By helping to share these stories, we aim to inspire homeowners and kitchen designers to see the sink in a new light. It’s a reminder that what might seem ordinary can be extraordinary, every day. With world-class design, and a message that resonates with all of us, we hope to deliver style and quality that proves the sink is much more than you think.”
SCHOCK offers three different quartz materials: CRISTADUR®, CRISTADUR® Green Line and CRISTALITE®, all available from The 1810 Company.
