Two local football teams have received a sponsorship boost from the UK’s leading flooring contractor, Designer Contracts. Derby County LFC reserve team has benefited from brand new team shirts, while recently established Pilsley Community FC Under Eights squad has received shirts and football equipment.
Said Designer Contracts md, Peter Kelsey: “Sporting clubs play a vital role in the local community and we’re delighted to be able to lend a helping hand to the ongoing success of both teams.”
Founded in 1989, Derby County LFC Reserve Team currently plays in the FA Women’s Premier League Midland reserve division. Designer Contracts will sponsor the team during the 2014/15 season.
Pilsley Community FC was established in June 2014 and is part of the Rowsley League, which is affiliated to the Derbyshire Football Association. The club has two Under Eight teams with 14 players, ages seven and eight.
Designer Contracts is the largest flooring contractor in the UK, supplying and fitting flooring nationwide from 12 regional locations. As well as floorcoverings, the company provides a curtain and blind making service, furniture and lighting packs and also has a show home design division.
