Lovell Partnerships two new appointments

Developer Lovell Partnerships has expanded its team in the eastern region with the appointment of two new property professionals.

Chris Law and Thomas McMonagle join the team as managing quantity surveyor and graduate quantity surveyor respectively.

Bringing four years’ experience to the role, Chris will be responsible for managing projects across sites as well as overseeing the requisition of goods and services of the business.

Chris Law said: “I’d heard great things about Lovell’s fantastic reputation from work colleagues and friends in the industry, so I was really looking forward to joining the team. And, they certainly didn’t disappoint. Since joining, I’ve been really impressed with Lovell’s systems, ethos and training, and I’m excited to support them in their fantastic growth plans over the coming months.

Chris continued: “In my new role I’ll be working on a range of sites across the region and playing an integral part in contributing to the completion of each successful project.”

Thomas McMonagle, joins the Lovell Partnerships’ team after graduating from Nottingham Trent University. Marking the beginning of his career in property, his role will include learning about new projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they are compliant and assisting with the technical aspects of developments.

Thomas said: “Lovell is one of the most prestigious companies in the industry, so getting the chance to work for them was an opportunity I couldn’t turn down. I joined Lovell as I wanted to develop my skills and understanding of the industry, and I can’t wait to get a wider insight into the industry as well as learn how other departments within the organisation operate.”

Christopher Smith, Land and Partnership Director at Lovell, said: “It’s great to welcome both Chris and Thomas to the team. Last year, despite the challenges we faced due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Lovell Partnerships enjoyed its most successful year. As a result Chris and Thomas have joined us at what is a very exciting time for the business, and I know they’re both perfectly placed to support our upcoming plans for the coming year.

“We’re really passionate about investing in the future generations of property professionals, so it’s always brilliant when we can recruit graduates like Thomas. Meanwhile, Chris brings some fantastic experience to the team which we look forward to drawing on over the coming months.”

Since 2021, Lovell Partnerships has built a total of 346 new homes across the region. In the east of the UK there are currently several key projects in the works, including the recent launch of The Sycamores in Kirk Ella, near Hull, which includes two, three and four-bedroom homes, with a number of developments set to open to the public later in the year.
