Moores continues to lead the way in sustainable production, partnering with Vistry on its new Innovation Centre (VIC).
Located at Vistry’s state-of-the-art MMC factory in Leicestershire, the VIC showcases the housebuilder’s chosen suppliers and installes which are using progressive products and services that put the environment first.
The Centre is constructed in the style of a timber frame house, and was created using 18 different trades, 54 suppliers, and 100 different products and technologies, once of which, was the Oxford Reed Green kitchen from Moores. Taking pride of place as the heart of the modern home, the set-up highlights some of the key sustainability features found across the Moores portfolio, including the use of water-based paints, handles and unit legs made from recycled materials, responsibly sourced FSC, approved wood and the variety of recycling options for end-of-life units.
Moores’ Channel Director, David Simpson, Key Account Director, Cara Miller, and Head of Marketing, Julie Holliday, were invited to the Centre to see first-hand the lengths Vistry are going to in order to make sustainable homes available to all.
David Simpson adds: “It’s great to see our product represented in such a cutting-edge project. We pride ourselves on keeping sustainability at the heart of how we do things at Moores and collaborating with like-minded clients is a huge part of that.”
