A linguist and lover of modern languages, Joseph began his career in education, working as an English as a Second Language teacher in Both Spain and Ecuador. After several years working in this industry, Joseph was commissioned to write educational materials for Oxford University Press (OUP) which is when he started to really realise his passion for writing.

Having published his first writing works with both OUP and Lonely Planet, Joseph decided to pursue a more full-time career in writing combining this with one of his personal interests and hobbies – home design and renovation. Joseph became the Editor of Showhome Magazine in April 2023, and has already attended the top industry events across the country, met influential figures and made a name for himself in the new build industry.

Joseph curates, writes and edits all the content for both the printed and digital versions of Showhome magazine, as well as overseeing all of the external content, collaborations and partnerships for the portfolio. As Editor, Joseph connects and organises interviews with top housebuilders, manufacturers, designers and government officials; and organises and leads the brand’s virtual event – Showhome Live.
