Who’s Who RAK Ceramics

RAK

Beautiful bathroom design made simple with RAK Ceramics. Ceramic and porcelain tile and sanitaryware manufacturer turns domestic bathrooms into dream spaces

RAK Ceramics is one of the largest ceramics brands in the world, specialising in ceramic and porcelain wall and floor tiles and sanitaryware to turn domestic bathrooms into dream spaces.

At the forefront of design innovation, RAK Ceramics collaborates with some of the world’s leading designers to create breath-taking bathroom collections. Most recently, award-winning Italian designer Maurizio Scutellà reimagined the small bathroom, with the introduction of RAK-Petit, a collection of small washbasins for compact spaces, from cloakrooms and en-suites to small family bathrooms. With minimal shapes and modest dimensions, RAK-Petit washbasins are perfect for small spaces that are also big on style.

The collection includes deep-based washbasins that can be installed alone or combined with RAK-Joy vanity units in the domestic bathrooms, as well as freestanding washbasins that are statement pieces in their own right.

RAK Ceramics is also the first in the UK to launch colour into its portfolio with intent, with RAK-Feeling, a complete collection of shower trays, enclosures and valves, washbasins, brassware, WCs and bidet, made with innovative materials and available in a range of colours to add flair and personality to bathrooms that have long been dominated by white sanitaryware.

Form follows function in a similar way with another recent launch, RAK-Des. With clean, minimal lines for a sleek and streamlined finish that emulates the hotel feel, one of the many highlights of RAK-Des is the versatile range of bowls and freestanding washbasins, ensuring a solution for every bathroom. Freestanding, wall-hung and countertop basins all feature beautifully ergonomic shapes crafted from quality ceramic to last the test of time.

The washbasins can be combined with RAK-Joy vanities and RAK-Precious countertops for perfect harmony in the bathroom. RAK-Precious provides a luxurious alternative to the functional ceramic white, with surfaces that emulate materials such as stone, marble and cement, bringing nature indoors in a stylish way.

The RAK Ceramics surfaces collection is just as extensive as its sanitaryware, with floor, wall and countertop tiles in a wide range of styles and sizes, along with mega slabs for a minimal finish with virtually no grout lines. Recent launches in this product category include the very modern Subway. Tile solutions don’t get much more versatile; position them horizontally, vertically, diagonally and in almost any pattern to add a splash of personality to the kitchen or bathroom. With seven colours to choose from too, even these can be mixed and matched to create a super-stylish look that is different every time.

The RAK Ceramics surfaces range also responds to the trend for marble-inspired surfaces in the home, with tiles such as Black Beauty. Manufactured to be extremely durable, scratch and stain resistant and very easy to clean, Black Beauty lends any setting a timeless charm. With all the elegance of marble combining with the practical advantages of porcelain, the surface can be used as a striking wall covering or countertop.

Overall, RAK Ceramics provides an all-round solution, giving architects and designers creative freedom to create beautiful interiors.
