Chaline (MA Interiors Arch & Design, BJourn, BFA, Marketing, IAA & AAA PDphas) has worked in design, marketing, licensing and merchandising for global brands across 22 countries including the financial, leisure, charity & retail sectors for over 30 years.

She won multiple awards for websites, books, products and interiors architecture and spearheaded hundreds of world-first products and projects before co-founding health clinics and most recently 540 WORLD.

Chaline combined health and design in her multiple award-winning MA, with a focus on optimising human health through materials, architecture and interior arrangements. Healthy materials is a key passion for Chaline in her interior architecture practice, FreeSpace Design and 540 WORLD is now a multiple award-winning, circular design consultancy which works primarily in the built environment, B2B and B2G. Both companies champion change, from our linear economy legacy to evidence-based, circular design in infrastructure, commercial and residential projects.

Recent projects include the UK’s first C2C Certified® multi-materials retrofit, material swaps for a global tech company’s HQ, several coastal developments, the world’s first C2C Certified Accoya® fenders and the largest C2C Certified Community Showcase in Europe. 540 WORLD helps clients create planet-positive, harm-free spaces to create a circular world of good.
