Europe’s leading shower designer and manufacturer, Roman, has revealed that the annual Sleep & Eat event was another resounding success.

Roman showcased a selection of innovative products at this year’s Sleep & Eat exhibition on 19th-20th November at London’s Olympia, demonstrating the company’s full range of capabilities and vast experience within the UK and International project market.

At this year’s Sleep & Eat event, Roman’s stand displayed two stunning hotel concepts featuring integrated solid surface fabrication elements across the bathroom – and Roman also unveiled a new Fluted glass wetroom panel.

Each of the three hotel design concepts showcased real hotel bathroom specifications with each presenting distinctive showering solutions and each illustrated a different metal colour finish; silver; matt black; and brushed nickel.

Roman’s centrepiece display was a stunning black Mondrian inspired design which consisted of a shower enclosure with clear glass and a toilet enclosure with frosted glass; a black and white wall unit with drawers; and a solid surface basin with industrial style black steel frame and black chrome fittings throughout. The set also featured Roman’s large square black grid mirror – the black grid style encapsulates industrial chic with an elegant twist and leads the current industrial look trend in bathroom design.

Alongside the Mondrian inspired hotel concept, Roman also displayed a shower enclosure with a brushed nickel metal finish. This hotel set also featured a solid surface integrated panel on a matt white anti-slip tray with a Corian vanity unit and splash back with an oak base unit.

David Osborne, Managing Director of Roman, commented: “Sleep and Eat is always a great event for us. It’s the only place that we can really highlight our design and manufacturing capabilities for the hospitality sector – and of course all of our hotel bathroom mock ups are based upon real life projects and design challenges over the last few months”.
