Consumers as of now desire hygienic, high end yet minimalistic products and this sink offers that. The way the sinks seemingly fit perfectly into the countertop provides an effortless feel, creating the appearance of an easy and undemanding kitchen space. Hygiene particularly has become a growing trend because of the Covid-19 pandemic meaning that more space to focus on greater hygienic practices is desired by homeowners. Minimalism also adds to this element of serenity and cleanliness which is attractive to many consumers. Undermount installation itself is also a very easy process which means that major renovations are not needed in order to get the desired kitchen feel.
The rise of dramatic countertops
Colour is making its way into the kitchen. Usually, the colour white is what tends to come to mind when an individual thinks of a kitchen as it resembles cleanliness. However, dark counters have grown in popularity. Black countertops when contrasting with a bright kitchen can almost create a striking yet harmonious feel to the room. Many homeowners view their living spaces as a statement piece for it to be eye-catching. This is important when you consider how aesthetics have become majorly important in consumers’ lives as having the most “instagrammable” looking environment is aspirational for many. Dark countertops and kitchens create this social media approval because frankly dark countertops are niche yet highly alluring as they create stunning backdrops that create interesting images. Subsequently, countertops are necessary in creating the perception that a home has been made of the highest quality.
