LEICHT Contracts, one of the UK’s leading providers of German engineered kitchen furniture to the new build and regeneration construction market appoint Will Bishop, as Sales Director.
Starting 31st March 2025, Will joins the team at LEICHT Contracts with extensive knowledge of the built environment and contract kitchens market following 16 years in the industry.
Previously Sales Director at the largest manufacturer of structural building components in the UK, ACS Stainless Steel Fixings, Will is well versed in assisting premium property developers and architects with complex, high volume projects. He also held the same position at Neo Group, the country’s largest stone fabricator supplying bespoke kitchen worktops, in addition to several roles in senior business development and contract kitchen sales at Symphony, Whiteleaf Furniture, and Howdens.
Will has always been passionate about kitchen design, and alongside his broad experience in fabrication and masonry, he has also worked across many key projects countrywide, managing multi-million-pound contracts for leading developers like Ballymore, Henry Construction, Berkeley St George, Barratt and Taylor Wimpey.
Tasked with managing all large-scale volume projects won by LEICHT Contracts, Will brings a wealth of high calibre clientele to the business and explains, “While high-rise construction is taking place across the UK, the city of London accounts for 58% of all new developments in the pipeline, which is over half of the total value! Furthermore, London’s population is expected to increase to 9.6 million by 2035, and so the need to increase urbanisation is fundamental to the city’s available housing stock, whether new build or redevelopment. With this in mind, I am thrilled to accept the Sales Director role at LEICHT Contracts, and contribute to the supply of stylish, sustainable, and supportive German-made architectural kitchen living spaces throughout the UK.”
Sarah Edwards, Managing Director at LEICHT Contracts says, “We are thrilled to have Will join the team, and strengthen our comprehensive five-year restructuring plan at LEICHT Contracts. Since 2020, we have focused on two aspects of the business; service delivery and maintaining client relationships. With a view to provide a stable foundation and steady revenue stream, we have big plans for future growth and are firmly on track to expand our business operations and support the significant pipeline of work already earmarked in 2026. The construction sector is highly sensitive to market fluctuations so by growing our team, we can make allowances for changeable market conditions such as navigating a global health crisis through to inflation and even labour shortages. Everyone at LEICHT Contracts is delighted to expand the team and have Will oversee all sales opportunities, development planning, and strategy refinement in his new role.”
Will Bishop joins Emily Everett, Sales Manager at LEICHT Contracts, who has established herself as a dynamic and highly commercial individual serving the company’s luxury and bespoke developers; Design Director, Matt Goddon, who has a sharp eye for design and natural ability to lead; and Sarah Edwards, Managing Director UK, who has managed all business operations for the past five years.
