The UK based manufacturer have unveiled their new flagship product in the form of a wireless thermostatic mixer, which is jam-packed with state of the art technology.

When it comes to show homes, there is nothing more important than making a good first impression. This ultimately means using them as a platform for the newest technology and innovations, alongside on–trend interiors to inspire and instantly grab attention from the moment your customer walks through the door. Helping the country’s housebuilders to tap into the growing acceptance of digital products around the home, Triton Showers has launched its HOST wireless digital mixer, designed specifically for British consumers and plumbing conditions.

Triton’s newest thermostatic mixer allows end-users to benefit from the very latest technology and enjoy a truly personalised experience. The contemporary wireless panel is available in black, white or cloud grey, with a clear digital display that allows users to choose one of three pre-set programmes, or select their own custom settings using 16 temperature and 10 flow steps. What’s more, Triton’s Affordable Style mix and match accessory items offer a wide range of style options, meaning HOST can be combined with a number of fixed showerheads, secondary handsets and holders. Alternatively, all in one packs are available, equipped with the most popular combinations for hassle free selection.

Where installation is concerned, the manufacturer’s flagship product has been developed to provide complete flexibility. The unit is suitable for every type of application, from brand new bathrooms to replacing a previous digital showers, and comes with a choice of one or two outlets, all with push-fit fittings. Packed with HOSTTM technology, the unit’s wireless controls also allow for second-fix, precision siting either on the wall of choice, in the centre of a tile, or on the grout line. An optional wireless remote boasting a warm-up function is portable for bedside tables or the supplied magnetic wall mount, providing an unrivalled shower experience. This warms the water up before switching off, so it’s ready to eliminate those cold shocks – ideal if the combi boiler is far away from the shower.

For even better performance, HOST promises superior flow rates than a standard brass mixer when used with a gravity-fed cylinder and more precise temperature control when paired with a combi or mains fed cylinder. Triton has even introduced its digital brushless quiet motor technology into the pumped model, ensuring the model runs silently without compromising on pressure. Not only does this increase energy efficiency, but the mixer box can be wired locally to a fused spur.

Steve Saunders, Senior Technical Manager at Triton Showers, commented: “As the digital market goes from strength to strength, we recognise how important it is that the industry keeps up with ever-changing customer demand. HOST gives retailers access to a versatile, high spec, product that will help them to take advantage of this growth while providing a welcome additional cash margin.”

Alongside the launch of HOST, Triton has also invested an initial six figure sum into an update of the brand and development of a national advertising campaign, which is set to air in customer’s living rooms this autumn. The first shower company in the UK to embark upon activity of this scale, this bold move will see the market leading manufacturer launch a TV commercial on ITV, Channel 4 and Sky.

The light-hearted advert brings the new ‘See you first thing Britain’ ethos to life across the nation’s screens. Depicting the morning shower routines of three very different characters, the commercial will be accompanied by digital advertising and an interactive online app which encourages users to discover their own ‘First Thing’ personality and range of products available.
