Wetroom solutions manufacturer Impey has announced that its leading product range will feature on the dedicated software package NBS Plus; a library of building product manufacturer details for the specification of products for construction.
The 22 Impey products which have gained an NBS Clause, ensuring that they are fully compatible with the NBS Software, will also be added to RIBA’s Product Selector and accessible to architects and specifiers across the UK, Europe and on a worldwide basis.
UK based wetroom specialist Impey has a longstanding relationship with the architecture community and currently offers two RIBA certified CPD training courses, focusing on the specification of the wetroom systems for residential, commercial and healthcare environments.
To further establish its product range within the specification arena, Impey has recently become the first wetroom manufacturer to have its floor-former products listed on the NBS Plus Software package; used as a specification aid by 92% of the UK’s top architectural practices.
After working with the NBS to successfully gain clauses for all 22 products which are to be listed, presence on NBS Plus will allow architects and specifiers to import Impey’s product information directly into their live projects, with complete details of the floor former inclusion being written into the initial building specification at concept stage.
In addition, the 22 newly listed products, which include the renowned EasyFit floor former range, Impey’s WaterGuard waterproofing system, glass wetroom screens, shower seating and more, will also be added to the RIBA Product Selector.
The site, which is an industry-leading information hub and index, contains brochure information, design details, technical data, imagery and case studies all available for use by architects, designers and construction professionals.
Neil Whitehead, Brand Manager at Impey said: “It’s incredibly exciting to be working with the NBS team. When specifying a wetroom, it’s important to first choose an appropriate floor former system and in turn select a compatible drainage solution.
Our addition of 22 products onto the NBS Plus software will allow architects and designers to find a best-fit wetroom system, with appropriate and suitable drainage, at an early stage within their live projects.
“The listings for our first 22 products have now gone live and we are very excited continue the work we are doing with NBS and RIBA to list further products and CPD seminars in the future.”
