Barratt Homes is set to open the doors to its latest development, Martello Lakes in Hythe, this month, marking the launch of a brand-new community. Homebuyers will be able to get the first look inside the development as it opens on April 30th and showcases the latest in home design.
Visitors will be able to see inside two different show homes throughout the weekend and meet with Barratt Homes’ sales team to reserve homes off-plan.
Martello Lakes’ four bedroom Lincoln show home, styled by interior designer Andrew Henry, is a beautifully-presented detached home. On the ground floor it contains an open-plan kitchen with a breakfast and family area and a separate dual aspect dining room and lounge with French doors to the rear garden. The first floor boasts the principal bedroom with en- suite shower room, two further double bedrooms, one single bedroom and a family bathroom.
Also opening its doors to visitors will be the three-bedroom Barwick show home, which features an open plan lounge/dining room with French doors to the rear garden, a separate contemporary fitted kitchen and downstairs toilet. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms, one with an en-suite, and a family bathroom.
Pam Reardon, sales and marketing director for Barratt Homes, says interest has already been high in the first release of properties, even before the launch event. “Demand for homes at Martello Lakes is largely due to the fantastic location and quality design of the properties. We are immensely proud of the development and can’t wait for the first residents to move into their new homes.”
Energy conservation is high on Barratt Homes’ agenda and smart techniques such as airtight doors, insulated roofs and special double-glazing have been used in the construction of the new homes. The homes have also been built to make the very best use of space.
Martello Lakes will feature a range of light and airy two bedroom apartments and two, three and four bedroom homes.
Prices are expected to start from £264,995 for the 3 bed Barwick.
