The Hotpoint Class 6 electric, single, built-in oven (SI6 874 SH IX) has received the highly sought-after Good Housekeeping Institute (GHI) Approved endorsement*.
The renowned Good Housekeeping Institute has been providing consumers with buying advice and reviewing products since 1924. The GHI Approved initiative is an unbiased, independent endorsement awarded to products that successfully pass a series of stringent tests, which are conducted by GHI experts.
The Class 6 built-in oven (SI6 874 SH IX) boasts Hotpoint’s innovative Multiflow technology, which distributes constant and even heat to every corner and shelf level of the oven, ensuring consistently even cooking, without burnt edges or raw middles, just delicious results every time. The oven was assessed and evaluated by GHI on its performance, ease of use, design and the user instructions.
Katie Mortram, Head of Appliance Testing, Hearst Institute, says: “The Hotpoint oven, SI6 874 SH IX, with Multiflow technology, offers even cooking and produced a crispy roast chicken, as well as nicely browned fairy cakes on test. It’s intuitive, easy to use and features an array of versatile cooking programmes.”
Following the test, the 73 litre Hotpoint oven was also praised for having ample space to cook a full roast dinner, the shelves being easy to remove and fit, and the oven door staying cool when the appliance was set to a high temperature.
