Leading UK tile manufacturer, British Ceramic Tile, is set to unveil a new brand and extended sales team as the company moves to become a serious contender within the new build housing market.
Created to target national and regional house builders, the company has launched Aspire, a new brand which brings together British Ceramic Tile’s diverse, market-leading product portfolio together into one offering, providing house builders with their most comprehensive collection of wall and floor tiles to date.
Aspire offers customers a fresh approach to tiles with products now grouped into key lifestyle packages to simplify the specification process. Customers can now select from one of four lifestyle packages as well as British Ceramic Tile’s designer collection, which includes collaborations with iconic design names such as Conran, Laura Ashley and Hemingway.
British Ceramic Tile’s, Senior Product Manager, Paul Jackson, explains: “Aspire is a new step forward for the company. It’s just one of several developments designed to increase our presence within the sector and directly answer the needs of the house builder.
“Each lifestyle range has been designed in such a way that the house builder can offer homeowners a variety of options from contemporary ceramic collections through to high end porcelain, making it even easier for consumers to trade up when specifying their kitchen, bathroom or living area design schemes.”
From ceramic and porcelain through to glass splashbacks and upstands, mosaics and designer collections, Aspire offers a complete tiling solution to suit a wide range of projects and budgets, all of which is designed and made here in the UK.
Paul added: “Our new brand and suite of packages are backed up by our British manufacturing heritage. Consumers are increasingly looking to buy British made products, while house builders are choosing to specify products that are manufactured and stocked here in the UK. With our design-led, British made products, fast and efficient turnarounds from our Devon-based distribution operation and dedicated house build team, we are now incredibly well placed to service the needs of our customers.”
The company has also strengthened its house build team with the appointment of a new specification manager for the North, Warren Knowles, who joins the existing team of Dave Orrey, Steve Selleck and Jamie Philips. Changes have also recently been made restructure the internal sales team to streamline the ordering process and offer an improved service to customers.
