Kraus Flooring UK is supporting National Home Improvement Month 2020, encouraging UK homeowners to think about how they can make one change as part of their DIY plans this April.
The campaign also aims to give retailers and manufacturers the chance to capitalise on increased interest in DIY over the home improvement season.
Organised by BHETA, National Home Improvement Month challenges the public to renovate their homes and share the changes on social media. The awareness campaign runs every April and provides a significant boost to the DIY industry.
Jeni Brookes, UK Sales Director at QEP, said: “We’re proud to be supporting National Home Improvement Month. We want to give homeowners the confidence to tackle those DIY projects, but it’s also really important for the sector as it encourages extra footfall in stores and driving online sales of DIY and home improvement products.”
This year’s National Home Improvement Month comes as statistics reveal 58% of people don’t love the home they live in, while 14% admit to calling in a professional before even attempting their own DIY.
“I think it’s a shame that so many people don’t love their home, this shouldn’t be the case,” continued Jeni. “Many people find DIY daunting, but small changes can make such a wonderful difference and really rejuvenate the home.”
The National Home Improvement Month campaign is also being supported by many of the nation’s leading home improvement household names and brands. For more information visit www.homeimprovementmonth.co.uk
