A basin full of choice

As the design of the modern bathroom becomes evermore individually driven, and fashion orientated manufacturers have responded by offering ever wider product ranges.

Not so very long ago the typical bathroom comprised of a pedestal washbasin, a low level WC and a rectangular bath – with an acrylic bath panel perhaps in preference to a laminate sheet.

Thank goodness today’s consumers expect, and get, a lot more style in their bathrooms and are much more aware of the many options available to them.  There is now a vast array of different styles and sizes of washbasins for different situations far removed from the typical pedestal type.
Different styles and sizes of washbasins supplied by Impulse Bathrooms

To cater for the ever changing style requirements, Impulse Bathrooms have introduced several additions to their already extensive range of non-pedestal basins.

The SquareSpace cloakroom basin is a modern ‘chunky’ style available with one or two corner tap holes and is ideally suited for use where space is limited but where a design statement is still required.

SquareSpace is also offered as a cloakroom pack complete with chrome-plated pop up waste, bottle trap and monobloc mixer, for convenience.

Also new to Impulse Bathrooms basin range is the Valero minimum intrusion, semi-recessed basin designed specifically to complement bathroom furniture.  It is different from many so called furniture basins, as it fits neatly onto a 200mm deep furniture profile which is so popular today. The design also features a central single taphole.

A new Maria vessel basin with tap landing now also joins the Maria vessel basin giving a basin mounted tap option as well as for use with a free-standing high neck monobloc mixer.

The Impulse Bathrooms basins range includes no less than 17 vessel basins, 13 semi-recessed, 14 cloakroom and 30 wall hung basins not to mention drop in vanities or undermount vanities.  That’s more than enough choice for anyone wishing to create a new bathroom or cloakroom to their individual preference.

Of course the pedestal washbasin is still the preferred choice for many homeowners who like the more conventional bathroom and perhaps only want to replace the existing suite with a new up-to-date style – or perhaps are only now replacing an old coloured suite.

For this market Impulse Bathrooms offer some 13 pedestal washbasins as part of different complete bathroom suites, ranging from contemporary to traditional. They are also bringing out a choice of three 65mm taller pedestals in the autumn to cater for the increasing proportion of taller or less able bodied. There’s a washbasin to suit absolutely everyone from Impulse Bathrooms.
