InSinkErator creates educational food waste disposer video

InSinkErator, inventor of food waste disposers, has created an informative video to raise awareness of the benefits of its food waste disposers to a wider audience.

The 70 second video introduces the InSinkErator Evolution 200 food waste disposer, shows viewers how easy it is to operate and highlights the convenient benefits it offers. The video continues to detail the safety, quiet operation and easy maintenance of the food waste disposer.

What’s more, the new video from InSinkErator explains that food preparation results in unavoidable food waste. As we now prepare more food at home from scratch, we are left with a larger proportion of inedible food waste, such as vegetable peelings, than ever before. An InSinkErator food waste disposer is the ideal solution for this growing problem.

InSinkErator is an active campaigner in encouraging the disposal of food waste sustainably and advises composting wherever possible. Where this option is not possible, however, an InSinkErator food waste disposer is the ideal alternative for diverting food waste from ending up in landfill.

Not only does this offer an alternative to traditional disposal methods, but by reducing food waste to landfill sites, it also helps to reduce greenhouse gases and the household’s carbon footprint. In addition, and where there is an anaerobic digester within the sewage system, the nutrients from the food waste can be recovered and turned into biogas and fertiliser.

Anne Kaarlela, Marketing Communications Manager, Europe and Russia InSinkErator, said: “With video content being so popular, we have invested in the creation of our educational food waste video to further increase the awareness of food waste disposers and the benefits offered. We hope this will offer support when introducing customers to an InSinkErator food waste disposer.”
