Ramsey Commissioners have stated that building work on a new £6m sheltered housing project, which will be located in the north of the Isle of Man, is set to officially start in the summer of 2018.
The facility in question, which will be on Queen’s Pier Road, will include 27 one-bedroom flats as well as 10 other units, which will have two bedrooms.
A planning application of the site has revealed that the Mayfield complex will also host passenger lifts and have a general communal area.
Permission for the three-storey development was initially granted last July, however, so far there have been no prices that have been published.
