Vaillant, one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of central heating systems has been awarded the 2016 Which? Best Buy award for its range of ecoTEC plus and ecoTEC pro boilers.

With the average boiler breakdown costing £200, Which? has produced a boiler brand report just in time to help homeowners looking for a reliable boiler to help keep their homes warm and cosy this winter. Compiled from a survey of more than 10,000 members to establish how well boiler brands perform in real life situations, Which? awarded Vaillant an overall score of 83% in its latest report. In particular Vaillant performed particularly well on its customer satisfaction levels, with 77% very satisfied and 67% happy to recommend to a friend.

However, there is one area in which the ecoTEC pro and ecoTEC plus could not be compared with other boilers and that’s noise, as Vaillant is the only Which? Best Buy brand to have been awarded Quiet Mark status.

As well as achieving a high customer rating Which? also gathered insight from heating engineers who work with boilers on a day to day basis.  The results highlighted that both the ecoTEC plus and ecoTEC pro scored a five star rating in build quality and ease of servicing.

Steve Keeton, Marketing and Technologies Director comments: “It’s always great to hear that homeowners and heating engineers positively rate our ecoTEC boiler range.  We’re even more delighted to hear that over three quarters of the survey respondents were very satisfied with their boilers and we plan to continue building on this success.

“We are also proud to be the only manufacturers in the report to have been awarded the highest Quiet Mark rating for central heating systems. Making highly energy efficient heating systems that run with minimal noise, is just one of the ways we are continuing to make our customers’ homes warm and comfortable.”
