The first recruit into Avant Homes’ innovative sales advisor training programme has graduated, following a six-month study and work experience course in Yorkshire.
Jasmine Tubridy is the first trainee to qualify from the programme, which is unique to the housebuilding sector. The programme focuses on bringing talented and enthusiastic people who do not have previous experience in new homes sales into a career in this sector.
Avant Homes’ graduate sales advisor, Jasmine Tubridy, said: “For me, this was an incredible opportunity to expand my current sales skills and grow within the company. The Avant Homes sales advisor training involves a six-step programme combining classroom-based activities and on the job training across Avant Homes’ developments in Yorkshire. The programme aims to develop and train budding sales advisors to offer the Avant Homes difference, nurture and develop trainees’ talents and ultimately enhance the customer experience and achieve sales. The end result will be fully competent sales advisors who can confidently and efficiently direct customers from reservation to completion.

Avant Homes is planning to expand the training programme in Yorkshire, as well as looking to recruit trainees across its regional operating companies in Scotland, North East and in the Midlands.
