SJ Roberts Homes has started work on its exciting plans to bring 29 much-needed open market homes to Newtown.
Preliminary construction on site, which is located off Llanidloes Road, and which will be known as Penson Gardens, has commenced and the first properties will be available to reserve from Spring 2025. The homes will be a variety of semi-detached and detached dwellings ranging in size from one-, through to four-bedroom properties. All will be available for sale on the open market.

Shropshire-based SJ Roberts Homes, part of the SJ Roberts Group, was established in 2016 and has since delivered several distinct developments across Shropshire. Its most recent one, Allscott Meads which is located between Shrewsbury and Telford on the site of a former sugar beet factory, is multi-award winning.
Today’s announcement, however, is the firm’s first project in Wales where, through its construction team, it has built an enviable reputation delivering homes for a range of clients.

“The homes that we will be delivering at Penson Gardens in Newtown have been carefully designed by our own in-house team and will be built using timber frames manufactured by our sister company, Lowfield Timber Frames.
