Bovis Homes property for sale at Potters Field

There is just one new Bovis Homes property remaining for sale at Potters Fields in the East Sussex village of Ringmer.

Bovis Homes has built 110 new homes at the development off Bishops Lane, comprising a range of 66 two, three, four and five-bedroom houses for private sale and 44 affordable homes available for local people, alongside areas of public open space.

There is one final chance to reserve a new home at the development – the four-bedroom detached Canterbury from £599,000.

Ginny James, sales and marketing director at Vistry South East, said: “Potters Field has proved to be a very popular development and strong sales have seen us sell all but one property at the site.

“The remaining home is a top-quality, high-specification property situated within a lovely new neighbourhood in Ringmer. As more and more residents move onto the site, we can see a new community with a distinct sense of belonging forming.

“The last home which remains for sale has been carefully designed to meet the needs of different buyers, both with a garage and driveway parking outside.

“The four-bedroom Canterbury is the perfect property for a growing family needing flexible space, or a couple who require separate home offices. The house features a large kitchen/dining room with French doors onto the back garden, a separate sitting room, a study and a downstairs cloakroom. Upstairs, there is a master bedroom with en suite, three other bedrooms and a family bathroom.”

Construction is now complete at Potters Field, where work started in 2019.

Ginny said: “This development has been attractive to a range of buyers because it is located in the picturesque village of Ringmer, which lies on the very edge of the South Downs with scenic views over the nearby rolling hills. People love the fact the village itself is a thriving independent community with two pubs, a general store, a post office, a café and a bakery, while the shops, bars and restaurants in the town centre of Lewes are just four miles away.

“There’s wide-open countryside on the doorstep and a range of well-regarded schools in the vicinity, which has made the development popular with families, while people also like the convenience of having the A26 and A27 nearby for travelling to Brighton and the south coast and the A22 for London. Commuters using the train are well-served by Lewes railway station, about three miles away, which offers regular services to London Victoria, taking just over an hour.”
