CALA Homes is launching a £45,000 Community Bursary across Scotland on Monday 10th February. Local charities, schools, community groups and good causes from in and around the areas in which CALA builds are invited to apply for a share of the funding.

The initiative is now in its fourth year across the West and East of Scotland, and fifth year in the North, and to date has supported more than 200 worthy causes in local communities, awarding over £255,000 to a wide variety of organisations including environmental charities, cancer support groups, food banks and sports clubs. This year the housebuilder will make a further £45,000 available across Scotland.

Jim McIntyre, Managing Director at CALA Homes (West), said: “CALA is committed to making a positive and lasting contribution to communities and we’re delighted to launch our Bursary initiative in Scotland once again.

“We look forward to hearing from an even wider breadth of local charities and good causes, and discovering not only the vital difference they make to the community, but also how we can support, sustain and amplify the great work that is being done.”

CALA’s Community Bursary is open to charities and community groups of all sizes. Those interested can apply for a share of the fund by completing an application form at cala.co.uk/bursary. Applications close on Friday 6th March 2020.
