EV Blocks appoints new EV Expert

With 2035 fast approaching, the UK is ramping up its efforts to transition to electric vehicles. With that, it also brings the needed infrastructure to support these efforts. Growing EV infrastructure company EV Blocks Ltd has recognised these pain points and provided infrastructure solutions to smooth the transition to EV.

With the business expanding year-on-year, so has their team. Meet their latest recruit, Jordan Hudson, the new Account Manager for EV Blocks. With experience working at leading EV companies including Rolec, BP Pulse, and Sevadis, Jordan has proven himself to be a key player in supporting the UK’s transition to greener driving.

“I’ve spent the last two years immersed in the EV industry, fostering valuable connections throughout the EV space. The dynamic nature of the EV sector, with its fast-paced environment, has been instrumental in continuously expanding my knowledge base. I’m enthusiastic about leveraging this experience as I join EV Blocks, ready to make an immediate impact and contribute to propelling the business to new heights.”

Now in its fourth year of operation, EV Blocks has witnessed the EV industry evolve, from new vehicles entering the market to the improved efficiency of chargers being implemented. With that said, supporting infrastructure was needed to match the rate of growth.

The founder and inventor, Trevor Palmer, recognised this in his previous field as an electrical contractor. In order to install free-standing EV chargers, it usually involved casting concrete onsite. Depending on external factors such as the weather, installing chargers foundations was a time consuming process at times, resulting in unscheduled return visits and unnecessary added expense.

Thus, the EV Block was invented. Removing the need for casting onsite, offering a future-proof design, and making updates easy with its universal adapter plate. This innovative design has truly revolutionised how free-standing EV chargers are installed. By decreasing install time, allowing for less invasive updates, and overall providing a more sustainable solution by reducing unnecessary repeat visits,

As the EV industry continues to evolve, so do EV Blocks.
