Earlier this year, Savills reported that views of bungalows for sale on its website had more than doubled since 2019. Yet while demand is rising, bungalows account for just 9.2% of England’s 26.8 million properties. At Yapton in West Sussex, Hyde New Homes is working to address the supply and demand imbalance for single storey living. Its new Elms Collection, launching at Wildbridge on 11th and 12th October 2024, includes energy-efficient new bungalows, as well as houses with between two and four bedrooms.
The Elms Collection is the third phase of homes to launch at Wildbridge. The development’s previous phases have proven popular with a wide range of buyers thanks to their spacious design and superb quality. Lindsay Franklin (54), who bought a 25% share of three-bedroom home at Wildbridge through shared ownership for herself and her 19-year-old son, comments:

The development also includes a new play area and park for residents of all ages to enjoy, all within strolling distance of Yapton’s shops, cafes, pubs and other daily essentials.
