Lockley Homes releases unique “Sky Bungalows” on to the market

Lockley Homes has announced the official release of its unique “Sky Bungalows” at its Kingsbrooke development in Colwall, near Malvern.

The company has developed the concept due to demand from the “lock up and leave” generation that is increasingly looking to maximise living comfort and minimise maintenance and hassle.

“Sky Bungalows” is a new lifestyle model created by Lockley Homes that is set to take the UK residential housing market by storm.

Lockley Homes, a small Warwickshire-based developer run by brothers Tom and Karl Lockley, has made its name bucking UK housing trends. Where national housebuilders look to maximise the total number of housing units on each site, Lockley Homes has set out its stall to provide luxury accommodation first and foremost.

Karl Lockley, joint managing director of Lockley Homes, said: “Our recent open day at Kingsbrooke was a great success and we have now sold the two large four bedroom detached houses and two traditionally-styled two bedroom bungalows on the site.

“We are now releasing the remaining Sky Bungalow apartments in Connolly House on to the market.

“They appeal to those who may spend part of their time abroad each year, or who need a place to stay near to one of the many excellent private schools this part of the country has to offer.

“They may just be wishing to downsize to something more suited to their needs in retirement, but principally they are looking for a lifestyle that provides maximum comfort with minimal workload.”

Designed in the manner of an Edwardian country house, Connolly House is surrounded by lawns and trees that are part of the community package, giving occupants maintenance-free enjoyment of their rural surroundings.

Karl added: “The first two apartments were reserved off-plan before we had even officially released Connolly House to the open market, and we are expecting similar strong demand for the remaining four apartments.”
