Mark Baron appointed Reginox Area Sales Manager

Reginox UK has appointed Mark Baron as Area Sales Manager for London and the South East region.

As a B2B manufacturer and supplier of sinks, taps, worktops and accessories for the KBB and housebuilding and specification sectors for 23 years, Reginox has built an outstanding reputation for the quality, depth and breadth of its ranges during its time in the UK.

Mark’s territory takes in London and stretches from the NR, NN, and IP postcodes in the north, to the HP, RG and GU postcodes in the west, and everything east of and including RH and BN postcodes.

Dave Mayer, Reginox UK Commercial Director, says: “Mark is a very welcome addition to the team. His passion for the business and our products is there for all to see and it’s standing him in good stead to make his mark in this sector.

“We are strong believers that people do business with people, which is why we’ve created a team brimming with professionalism and personality.”

Mark has a lot of experience in this sector and joins Cheshire-based Reginox from B2B kitchen worktop supplier and distributor WEX Trade, where he was business development manager for the South East for two years.

He says: “The feedback I’m getting from customers is really positive towards Reginox. I‘ve been finding out how we can help them achieve their goals and therefore achieve our goals at the same time.

“It should be a symbiotic relationship between sales person and customer, you have to have that open line of communications – you can’t achieve that from phone calls and emails alone.

An avid chess player since childhood, who still plays daily, Mark says his move to Reginox was fuelled by the firm’s family mentality: “I know this is said quite a lot, but I wanted to join a company where you’re not just a number, you’re a person and that really shines through here – you’re part of the Reginox journey. David (Dave Mayer) absolutely got that point across to me during my interview.”

And, he says, he is optimistic the market is taking an upturn: “It has been a struggle and there have been some closures in the sector, which is sad to hear. But most recently, customers have been telling me they’re seeing footfall and business both picking up.”

Outside of work, the father of two teenage children, Flair (16) and Harvey (13), plays golf (very badly, he says), follows football and supports Manchester United and has passed on his passion for chess to both his children!
