Milestones for Kingswood Homes at Green Hills

A new phase of homes at the Green Hills development in Feniscowles, Blackburn will soon be under construction. It comes as Kingswood Homes prepares to welcome the 125th homeowners to the popular development.

Phase 4a of Green Hills will feature 20 homes, to be built across 1.12 acres over the course of the next 12 months. As with previous phases, the homes have been designed by HemingWayDesign. HemingWayDesign was co-founded by Blackburn raised Wayne Hemingway MBE.

Among the properties under construction is a three-bedroom home being gifted to Derian House Children’s Hospice in the Great Big House Giveaway.

Head of sales Lesley Myers said: “Green Hills is an important development for Blackburn, helping provide much-needed high quality new homes in a location that offers the best of both worlds – easy access to the town centre and stunning views of green open spaces. It’s a combination that’s been well-received by buyers. This month we’ll be celebrating two key milestones – the completion of 125 new homes and work starting on a new phase of 20 homes.

“As with previous phases there will be a good mix of properties, including three, four and five-bedroom designs in a choice of semi-detached and detached styles. There will even be a new six-bedroom house type, including an annex with optional second kitchen, perfect for multi-generational households.”

The external design of the homes at Green Hills offers a contemporary twist to the traditional Lancashire farmsteads and barns. Inside, they offer a high specification with well equipped kitchens and stylish bathrooms, plus Smart home technology including Ring doorbells and Nest thermostats.

Kingswood’s Shape Your Home concept means buyers at Green Hills can choose from a range of floor options to configure their home to suit their lifestyle. Options include adding en-suites, making fewer but larger bedrooms; adding a study or completely opening up the ground floor to provide an expansive multifunctional family-friendly sociable space.
