New homes in Congleton will be released for sale “off plan” in response to demand.
Castle Green Homes is working with respected local business Chris Hamriding Estate Agents to market the initial phase of its Woodland Manor development.
Almost 300 people have registered interest in 160 private sale homes being built on land at Viking Way.
Known as Woodland Manor, the scheme is part of a wider development of 396 homes taking shape across 57 acres.
Sian Pitt, sales director for Castle Green Homes, said: “The site of our Woodland Manor development was allocated for housing in the Cheshire East Council Local Plan Strategy and will help the council achieve housing delivery targets. The volume of enquiries we’ve received to date, without actively advertising, demonstrates there’s a strong demand for new homes in the Congleton area. We’ll be hosting an exclusive event on July 11 for those who’ve registered their interest before the first homes are released for sale via Chris Hamriding Estate Agents.
“We’ll be adding virtual tours to our website so buyers will be able to explore the development and the individual homes before they’re built. We’d encourage anyone interested in the homes to create a Willow account via the website in readiness for the launch. They’ll be able to select their favourite homes, test out the different specification options and even create a digital twin of their new home.”
Woodland Manor will offer a mix of three and four-bedroom private sale homes. Prices will be announced at the launch.
Show homes at the site are due to open in spring 2025. The first homes are also expected to be ready to move into in spring 2025.
