New Edenstone Homes offer reverse living

New Edenstone homes in Langland have been flipped upside down to offer reverse living and make the most of the stunning setting.

While there are now just two of these properties available, potential purchasers are invited to view the new show home at The Meadows to fully appreciate how this configuration could work for them.

Adele McCoy, sales director for Edenstone Homes, explained: “Langland is a sought-after place to live, and our homes enjoy an unrivalled, elevated setting with stunning coastal views. It’s no surprise that people are keen to live here – the majority of the 15 private sale properties, sold off plan. People understand the concept of reverse living but are intrigued to see just how an upside down home actually works, which is why we’ve opened a show home.

“The easiest way to explain the layout is that we’ve turned the typical configuration people expect a home to have upside down. The open-plan living space is on the first floor, with a balcony to help make the most of the vista, with the bedrooms on the ground floor. There’s a real lightbulb moment when people see this for themselves and the views themselves are simply breathtaking. The launch event was a massive success, and one lucky couple reserved the show home, making their dream of owning a home with sea views a reality.”

Edenstone’s new homes in Langland are positioned just off Higher Lane, between the bays of Limeslade and Langland, with various coastal paths nearby along with the Gower’s breathtaking beaches.

The final two homes at The Meadows are four-bedroom detached Farnham style properties, prices from £825,000, both have elevated sea views.

In this home, the first floor is almost entirely open plan, with combined kitchen, breakfast area, lounge and dining room. Double height windows at the front and French doors opening onto the balcony at the rear help maximise the natural light to emphasise the spaciousness of the living area, while also offering fantastic coastal views.

A practical utility, convenient cloakroom and handy storage cupboard complete the accommodation on this level.

All four bedrooms are on the ground floor of the property.

The luxurious main bedroom suite includes a walk-in dressing area and an en-suite. Both the main bedroom and second bedroom benefit direct access to the terrace via French doors.

There are two further bedrooms, one that could be used as a study, plus the family bathroom and additional storage, on this level.
