House-hunters have been invited onto a new Linden Homes location in Alderbury for the first time.
Vistry Group is building 50 new properties at Pembroke Gardens, on the former home of Alderbury Football Club, which has relocated to a neighbouring site.
The housebuilder launched the development on Saturday 5 November, when a sales office and the four-bedroom Knightley show home were both opened on site.
Pembroke Gardens will comprise 39 new Linden Homes properties for private sale and 11 affordable homes available for local people through rent or shared ownership.
Lisa King, Sales Manager at Vistry Southern, said: “There has been a great deal of excitement, particularly in the local community, since we revealed our plans to build at Pembroke Gadrens. Demand was such that we took the decision to release the first homes for sale off-plan earlier this year and they have been incredibly well received.
“The development is now open for business and we are welcoming visitors to come along to the site. Our trained sales team will be on hand to answer any questions prospective purchasers may have about the location or any of the properties we are building here.
“We had a very busy launch weekend and anticipate that the heighted level of interest will continue now that people can actually visit the site in person.”
Pembroke Gardens will feature new public open space, including a children’s play trail. Each home will be provided with an electric vehicle charging point and a fibre-to-the-premises broadband connection.
The site will also deliver improvements to the facilities at Alderbury and West Grimstead Primary School by providing a new larger brick-built pre-school building and allowing the school to extend its playing fields. A new and improved hut for the 1st Alderbury Guides is also to be provided.
Lucinda said: “On the launch weekend, there was no doubt that the star of the show was the Knightley show home, which is the first property to be completed on site. This luxurious family home has been fully dressed and decorated by our interior design experts and gives visitors the opportunity to see a completed property – and to personally experience the quality and finish they can expect as standard in a new Linden Homes property.
“The Knightley has been designed to provide the perfect layout for modern family life. The property features a kitchen/dining room with French doors onto the garden and the convenience of a separate utility room. There is also a separate living room with French doors, a family room and a downstairs cloakroom. Upstairs, the main bedroom has an en suite and dressing area, while the other three bedrooms share a family bathroom.
“Construction work is progressing well across the rest of the site and we hope to welcome the first residents into their new homes at the development in early 2023.”
Vistry, which was formed in 2020, incorporates Linden Homes, Bovis Homes and Vistry Partnerships.
There is currently a choice of new three and four-bedroom Linden Homes properties available to reserve at Pembroke Gardens, with prices starting at £355,000 and £442,000 respectively.
