Newland Homes in Tewkesbury

Tewkesbury

Newland Homes has secured the promotion of land at Northway Mill Farm on the outskirts of Tewkesbury, extending to over 80 acres. This land has been identified as part of the first phase of the emerging ‘Tewkesbury Garden Town’ and has the potential to deliver over 450 homes.

Tewkesbury Garden Town, a project led by Tewkesbury Borough Council, comprises over 10,000 homes, employment land and infrastructure, as well as new schools, healthcare facilities and green space in the form of allotments and natural play areas.

Andrew Billings, Land Director at Newland Homes, comments: “We are committed to working with all the stakeholders involved with the Garden Town and facilitating the construction of the new railway bridge and associated infrastructure. Newland Homes is excited to be able to influence the emerging vision and design standards and we are committed to building Zero Carbon homes. In conjunction to this, we will also actively embrace green transportation and enhance site biodiversity to create a connected, sustainable community.”

This latest project continues Newland Homes’ investment in Tewkesbury.  The company has recently been granted planning permission in Twyning for 47 dwellings, which will provide a mixture of open market and affordable homes.  An application is also currently progressing for 145 homes on an allocated site in Churchdown, which is anticipated to be delivered in 2023.

Newland Homes specialise in medium to large-scale developments of apartments, townhouses and executive homes that provide desirable living spaces, open areas and amenities that build communities. Starting as a small, local business, to now a regional one with developments stretching across the West and South West, Newland Homes is responsible for more than 200 developments and over 2,500 completed homes to date.
