Oak Furnitureland, a hardwood furniture retailer, announced its biggest move yet into the sofa market following a year of strong sofa sales, as part of its strategy to develop its whole home offer for customers.
Available on the Oak Furnitureland website from 8th August, the furniture retailer have launched eight new sofa ranges in addition to expanding 13 existing collections to include a wider variety of styles and finishes. The new ranges will showcase a mix of leather and fabric sofas that include corner sofas, 4-seater, 3-seater and 2-seater options, in addition to loveseats, armchairs, and footstools.
The move will see Oak Furnitureland significantly increase the size of its sofa range as it continues to diversify its product offering to encompass the whole home. The acceleration into the sofa market follows strong double digit growth in sofa sales over the last year, with an item from a sofa range sold every three and a half minutes. Oak Furnitureland has also witnessed a substantial uptick in customer interest in sofas, reporting a 50% rise in searches for “sofa” on the brand’s website between 2021 and 2022.
To support the launch of its new sofa ranges, Oak Furnitureland will also be reformatting 53 of its showrooms to display the new sofa additions, creating a stylish and engaging shopping experience for customers to view and try out the new ranges.
Designed with longevity in mind, all of Oak Furnitureland’s sofas will also benefit from a lifetime guarantee on the frame, building on the brand’s commitment to using 100% quality hardwood and creating furniture that’s built to last.
Part of Oak Furnitureland’s ambition to become a more environmentally responsible retailer, the lifetime guarantee will entitle customers to unlimited repairs for the life of the product, helping to extend the life cycle of the sofa at no extra cost to the customer. This lifetime frame guarantee will apply to all of Oak Furnitureland’s sofas, recliner armchairs, accent chairs, footstools and sofa beds purchased after 8th August 2022.
