Landsby, the exciting new residential development from lifestyle-led rental brand Tipi, is now complete and open to residents and their well-behaved pets. Marking a start to what will no doubt be another a hugely successful year for Tipi, Landsby adds another 295 apartments to the company’s London offering, with further buildings set to open later this year.
Landsby is the latest of Tipi’s Wembley Park buildings to impress residents with its stylish homes, unique social spaces and innovative benefits package. The apartments have been designed from the outset to offer an enhanced rental experience. Their superb location means that the brand new Boxpark Wembley, the SSE Arena, Wembley the National Stadium and London Designer Outlet (LDO) are all practically next door.
Internally, Fossey Arora and John Lewis and Partners teamed up with Tipi to provide residents with an exceptional degree of choice. The apartments come in varying colour palettes. The light scheme features oak flooring and pale blue kitchen cupboards, while the more adventurous dark palette offsets the darker blue cupboards with lovely charcoal flooring.
Residents can then choose one of three furniture packs that were co-collaborated with John Lewis: Clementine, Midnight and an exclusive package that was designed with some of the larger apartments in mind. A total of 60% of the apartments are offered furnished, while those that are unfurnished come with the offer of a free interior design consultation service.
Both furnished and unfurnished apartments feature Samsung electronics as part of another of Tipi’s exciting partnerships. The Samsung customer care team has worked alongside Tipi’s own staff to develop a unique customer service package that sees Tipi residents benefitting from the same approach to customer care, no matter which company they are liaising with.
Rajesh shah, Magaing Director, Tipi, said, “Time and again in London you see impressive-looking exteriors only to find that the lovely new apartments only look good from the outside. Furnishing rental homes with cheap, disposable items is not the way to create a homely feel. Our partnerships with brands like John Lewis and Samsung have turned that ethos on its head. Landsby’s ovens, hobs, dishwashers, fridge freezers, washing machines and more are all high-quality Samsung items. There’s even a Samsung Family Hub fridge in the residents’ kitchen. Every element of Landsby is focused around decent brands that work to show tenants that they are welcome, trusted members of their new community.”
The stylish, Scandinavian-inspired apartments are complemented by a range of unique social spaces. Outside, two spacious podium gardens provide plenty of room for residents to relax and entertain (every apartment also has its own balcony or terrace overlooking either the iconic Wembley Stadium arch or the beautiful, sedate Elvin Gardens). Landsby also provides two impressive roof terraces, as well as a children’s play area, ensuring that there is outside space suited to a wide range of uses and that encourages socialisation with a villagey feel (the word ‘Landsby’ is itself Danish for ‘village’).
Indoors, Landsby provides flexible social spaces, including a kitchen, dining/dinner party/meeting room and lounge/library/work room. Residents can use the spaces as they wish. The dining room and kitchen (which comes complete with Samsung Family Hub fridge and high end cookware from brands such as Le Creuset) provide the perfect space for an extravagant dinner party with a difference. Alternatively, the long dining table means that the space works well as a meeting room, while the lounge area work desks are an ideal working from home spot.
Then there are the additional benefits: Landsby features pet-friendly apartments and already has five resident dogs; there is a concierge service available to all residents; independent retail outlets will be opening on the ground floor early this year. On-site social events (bingo nights, live music, supper clubs and more) and discounts at the LDO and other venues as part of the Tipi Perks programme complete the experience. Services such as flowers from Bloom & Wild and delicious, healthy recipe boxes from the Mindful Chef indicate the breadth of the Tipi Perks benefits.
Shah explained, “At Landsby, we wanted to give our residents the very best rental experience. That means no deposits, a wide range of tenancy lengths and, of course, outstanding homes. Private renting is already the most prevalent form of tenure in London, so it’s only right that renters are offered something exceptional. That’s what we’ve created with Landsby.”
What is also notable about Landsby is its quiet, homely feel. Though in many ways it’s at the heart of the action, the building’s location just a step back from Olympic Way (the thoroughfare that connects Wembley Park Station to Wembley Stadium) means that it delivers a wonderfully serene lifestyle experience, in line with the development’s tranquil feel.
Apartments at Landsby are priced from £1,664 pcm for a one-bedroom home, £2,200 for a two-bed and £3,000 for a three-bed. All include utilities and 40 mb/s broadband. Tenancy durations are flexible (with the standard being three years) and no deposit is required.
