Two new luxury showhomes are launched at Storey Grove

Storey Grove

Bellway is hoping to be in pole position with buyers after launching two new showhomes at Storey Grove in Thornliebank.

Featuring a striking Formula One themed teenagers’ bedroom, the four bedroomed Oakmont is likely to speed ahead of the opposition with its eye-catching interiors packed full of inspiration.

Equally envy inducing is the three bedroom Erinvale, with its luxurious champagne and silvery grey interior including a jungle themed bedroom that will be a big hit with your little monkeys!

Pauline Coates, Sales Director of Bellway Homes (Scotland West) said: “There’s always a balancing act when designing a showhome although they have to be beautiful and aspirational they also have to be homes people can imagine living in.

“The designers have created two incredible properties that manage to be very luxurious but also very welcoming and full of rich textures and soft fabrics. We are really proud of them and initial reactions from visitors have been amazing.”

Bound to be a big hit with families is the Oakmont which features a beautifully appointed lounge with pale silver sofas decorated with midnight blue velvet cushions, and a padded blue velvet coffee table. Dramatic abstract artwork and accessories add to the contemporary feel of this welcoming room.

Leading off the lounge is the large open plan kitchen, which carries on the tranquil blue tones in the elegant, studded velvet dining chairs, complementing the glass dining table perfectly. White gloss kitchen units with pale grey worktops create a calm and serene space with French doors leading out to a beautiful patio with stylish garden furniture – ensuring a great dining experience whatever the weather. Rich inky dark blue appears again on the walls of the smart utility room.

Upstairs the master bedroom is the ultimate grown-up boudoir with a luxurious pale grey padded headboard framing the sumptuous bed which is piled with pillows, ideal for reclining with your favourite book. A showpiece crystal-drop chandelier bathes the room in soft light with the deep blue velvet throw across the bed, adding to the opulent feel.

Petrol heads will love the racing car themed bedroom which features a large mural of a Grand Prix, bold chequered flag inspired cushions on the bed and a large desk with racing car style seat continue – ideal for studying or gaming!

Guests can’t fail to be impressed by the luxurious second bedroom with its silver and blue décor and beautiful velvet headboard. Sky and ocean tones are centre stage in the adorable polar bear themed kids’ bedroom with its magical play tent festooned with twinkling lights, striking snow and bear wall mural and blinds.

Ultra-sophisticated, the Erinvale is a great home for entertaining with a generous 18 ft long lounge with L-shaped silver velvet sofa, plush deep pile carpet and gold coffee table and mirror.

The large kitchen boasts sleek grey glass units with black worktops and has an impressive dining area with a round glass table with champagne velvet chairs, the idea spot to enjoy the views through the French doors to the landscaped garden. Soft full-length curtains, stylish light fitting and accessories complete this eye-catching kitchen.

Upstairs the master bedroom is both warm and glamorous with cinnamon cushions and throw adding a touch of spice to the silver and champagne tones. Soft browns and mink tones create a welcoming autumnal feel in the guest bedroom.

After being stuck at home for so long, kids will love exploring the animal themed bedroom with its bright turquoise map mural and jungle animals including large stuffed tiger in a explorers’ hat and little monkey hanging from the vines on the wooden bed frame.

Located on Burnfield Road, Storey Grove will feature a selection of 117 three and four bedroom homes plus 48 apartments when complete, with prices currently starting from £177,995.

Currently available for reservation are Type E, two bedroom apartments from £160,995 and Type F, two bedroom apartments from £159,995.
