UPOWA renews solar partnership with Bewley Homes

Bewley Homes

UPOWA are happy to announce their renewal of an exclusive agreement with the housebuilder Bewley Homes to deliver solar PV and EV charging requirements across its developments. This supply agreement will build upon the UPOWA roof-integrated solar and EV charger installations competed with Bewley Homes since 2001. The sustainable technologies have helped to future-proof the housebuilder’s properties while reducing customer energy bills and carbon emissions.

Boasting fifteen years of new build solar experience, an expert labour force.ISO-accredited quality and health and safety plus large stock holdings, UPOWA is well positioned to help Bewley Homes overcome the challenges posed by Part L and Part S. Additionally, demand increases for solar panels and smart EV chargers across its developments, UPOWA will supply its best in-class service to ensure compliance.

Chris Adams, Commercial Director at Bewley Homes, said:

“We are committed to optimising the sustainability and energy-efficiency of our homes to help our customers lower their carbon footprint and energy bills. With UPOWA’s solar PV and EV charging expertise and end-to-end service on board we can create high-quality, eco-friendly homes, that are fit for the future.”

James Bull, Founder and Sales Director at UPOWA said: “We are proud to continue our partnership with Bewley Homes, a housebuilder who shares our commitment to quality, sustainability, and innovation. By choosing UPOWA, Bewley Homes have a single supplier they can trust for all their solar and EV charging needs. We look forward to guiding Bewley Homes through the new regulations so they can maximise sustainability across their schemes.”

Future-proofing Bewley Homes’ developments with solar panels

Under the revised Part L of the Building Regulations, all new build properties built by Bewley Homes must produce 31% less carbon emissions.

With solar panels being one of Bewley Homes’ solutions to meeting Part L, UPOWA will deliver a seamless process from design through to handover. This will ensure hassle-free compliance with the increased energy efficiency targets. So, the housebuilder can then manage costs more efficiently when creating future-ready homes for its customers.

For all roof-integrated solar requirements, Bewley Homes have specified UPOWA’s 400W all-black Inline Solar system. It’s favoured by some of UK’s biggest housebuilders that include Barratt Developments, Taylor Wimpey and Redrow.
