Having worked for Whirlpool UK in various roles of increasing responsibility for over two decades, Alistair brings a wealth of knowledge and experience of the domestic appliance industry to his new position.

As part of Whirlpool UK’s long-term sustainability strategy, including its commitment to reach net zero emissions at its plants and in its operations by 2030, the company has a strong track record of investing heavily in the circular economy. This is demonstrated by the innovations Whirlpool UK develops to increase resource efficiency in its products, the outstanding service and maintenance it provides to ensure its products work for longer, and its commitment to recycling or refurbishing appliances once they have reached their end of life. Furthermore, the company also offers 10-year warranties, provides spare parts for repairs and removes and recycles all packaging from consumers’ homes when delivering a new appliance.
Alistair Dobson, Supply Chain Director, UK and Ireland, Whirlpool UK Appliances Limited says: “I have enjoyed nearly a quarter of a century at Whirlpool UK and I’m extremely proud to be continuing my career and embarking on a new challenge with the company. It’s more important than ever that our supply chain is strong, robust and resilient to ensure that our customers and valued retail partners can acquire the products they need at the right time. I look forward to applying the knowledge and experience that I have acquired throughout my career to build upon and further strengthen Whirlpool UK’s supply chain. Alongside this, I will ensure that we continue to manufacture innovative products that maintain high levels of quality, safety and resource efficiency, while promoting and investing in our commitment to sustainability.”
