The opening of a new show home marks the latest chapter in the story of the regeneration of a former factory site in Staffordshire.
Elan Homes is giving the former home of O.J. Wootton Ltd a new lease of life by providing new homes on the site in Giggetty Lane, Wombourne. Now known as Woottonbrook, it’s proved popular with a mix of buyers who have been keen to reserve “off plan”.
There’s also a growing list of potential purchasers eagerly who’ve been awaiting the launch of the show home, which is now open by appointment only.
Elan Regional Sales Director Tracey Ball said: “The off plan success we’ve achieved so far at Woottonbrook demonstrates a confidence in the housing market and in Elan. Some people told us they worried they would miss out if they didn’t reserve early on. We’ve seen some buyers travel to nearby developments so they can appreciate the quality and finish of our homes, but nothing quite beats viewing a show home where you want to live.
“We appreciate that townhouses, set out over three floors, can be particularly difficult to imagine. To help buyers understand how they could use an extra level of living space, we’ve opened a professionally styled and fully furnished example of the three-storey Stonall.”
A three-bedroom semi-detached home, offering 1,220 sq ft of living space, the Stonall is currently available from £349,000.
On the ground floor, there’s an inviting lounge with feature bay window at the front; with an open plan kitchen and dining room offering direct access to the rear garden via French doors.
Two bedrooms and the family bathroom are on the first floor, with the main bedroom and en-suite encompassing the top floor.
The homes at Woottonbrook enjoy a location with broad appeal, close to the countryside, with the Staffordshire and Worcestershire canal running alongside the development. The Wom Brook Nature Reserve offers the chance to enjoy the outdoors close to home, while there are village shops nearby and Wolverhampton is easily accessible.
