Falmec is delighted to announce that its NRS© Collection of premium kitchen extraction systems have been awarded with Quiet MarkTM accreditation. The fourmodels; Lumina, Zenith, Plane and Gruppo Incasso have been recognised as some of the very quietest extractor systems on the market, with noise output levels starting at an almost silent 37db up to a very quiet 53dB on maximum.

Quiet Mark is an international approval award programme associated with the Noise Abatement Society charity. Quiet Mark actively works to encourage brands to offer products with quiet acoustics and noise reductions solutions that positively impact our aural environment. The distinctive purple Quiet Mark symbol is awarded following rigorous testing and approval from a team of principal acousticians. The accreditation is highly regarded by brands, retailers and end consumers alike.

Quiet Mark’s Founder & Managing Director, Poppy Szkiler says “We are delighted to award Falmec for one of the very quietest cooker hoods we have assessed to date.”

Falmec’s NRS© Collection uses innovative technology that has been developed in collaboration with laboratories who are specialists in the study of fluid dynamics. Falmec’s UK Managing Director Nigel Jacobs, explains why quiet acousticappliances are necessary for the modern day home: “As the kitchen is increasinglybecoming recognised as the central hub of the home, we wanted to create an extractor that was both powerful and yet did not emit the level of noise disturbance typical of many similar extraction systems. Our NRS© extractors ensure that the kitchen can remain a place to eat, work and socialise without being interrupted by anoisy extractor system”.

The NRS© Collection offers wall, island and built-in installations with a powerful motor that can extract up to 800 m3/hr. Prices start from £947 +VAT
