Designer Contracts, the UK’s leading supplier of floor coverings to the new-build sector, has been named as one of the official flooring contractors for the charity, Advance.
A charitable organisation which works across 42 local authority areas in England, Advance owns and manages more than 1,500 properties. It also provides accommodation for 2,500 people with a learning disability or mental health condition.
Said Designer Contracts md, Peter Kelsey: “We are delighted to be one of the official flooring contractors to Advance. We will be providing a selection of floorcoverings to cater to the requirements and demands of each property within the network.”
Over the past two years, Designer Contracts has expanded considerably. As well as Advance, the company works with The Anchor Trust, England’s largest not-for-profit provider of housing and care for the over 55’s with retirement properties at over 1,000 locations across the country. It also works with the Home Group, which places over 120,000 people per year into a home.
Said Peter: “We have a vast selection of products to suit every market: from the home building sector that requires luxury floorcoverings such as Amtico, to social housing charities looking for a range of practical, hardwearing options.
“We carry large stocks, which means our customers receive products within an extremely short lead time.”
Designer Contracts has fully staffed offices and warehousing in 12 regions across the UK. As well as flooring, the company supplies curtain, blind, furniture and lighting packs to the new-build industry and has a full show-home interior design service.
