Designer Contracts –the UK’s biggest suppliers of floorcoverings to the new build industry – has appointed John Attenborough as area sales manager for its West Midlands region.
John moves the established region after setting up the extremely successful Thames Valley area, which was formed to cater for increased demand from London and the surrounding areas.
John brings with him a vast wealth of experience having spent over 30 years working in the industry – and has had his own business focusing on both domestic and commercial floorcovering customers.
Said Peter Kelsey, managing director at Designer Contracts: “John has a proven track record within our industry. Having successfully built up our Thames Valley region, he is perfect for helping to expand our already established West Midlands region.”
When not in the office, John fancies himself as a bit of a chef, finding cooking the best way to relax.
Designer Contracts employs 150 people across 12 regions, including the recently opened Thames Medway region. In addition to floorcoverings, it offers furniture, lighting, custom-made curtain and blind packages and a showhome design division to new home developers.
