Helping to improve homes across the country one consultation at a time, the Dulux Design Service works at the forefront of design trends to turn its customers dream homes into a reality.
The service – a network of professional interior designers across the UK – offers homeowners the chance to work with experienced professionals without fear of runaway costs. Through one to one consultations, the Dulux Design Service provides practical solutions and tips on every aspect of home improvement and helps create environments that people will want to enjoy spending time in.
Each designer has been selected according to their talent and experience in the interiors sector and the service is structured to offer levels of service to suit individual needs and budgets. As little or as much support as is desired can be provided, from styling advice and space planning to complete project management, home staging and renovation.
Marianne Shillingford, newly-appointed Creative Director of Dulux, explains: “People often struggle to get the right look for their home but feel that it would be too costly to enlist the help of a professional interior designer. Yet a small investment in the Dulux Design Service, to get it right at the outset, can save you time and money in the long run. Whether you simply want a design scheme with mood boards to give you ideas and inspiration or hassle-free product sourcing, our designers will help transform your home into the perfect personal space.”
Shillingford also details how to the Design Service can bring a particular look to life in the home: “Collective Passion allows you to be creative with combinations of different colours on the same wall, adding interest to long corridors and open plan living spaces. Pure white furniture, flooring and ceilings cleanse the visual palette without removing an ounce of fun. Another easy way is to add accessories in fluro shades that fizz against vibrant wall colours and use white furniture to bounce light around the space, or pick up on the ice cream shades of colour soft furnishings and balance with warm grey for flooring, furniture and accent pieces. When painting a wall, allow delicate waves of colour bleed into each other from the walls through to the furniture and furnishings.”
The Dulux Design Service is not limited to a particular range of products or retail outlet. It works to help inspire its customers to achieve the looks that they desire – be it classic, country cottage, contemporary or something in between. The service team has access to an extensive range of fabrics, furniture, flooring, lighting and paints and is supported by an experienced team of skilled tradesmen whose workmanship comes with a two-year guarantee.
